De NEXCOM VTC-Serie computers zijn speciaal ontwikkeld voor montage en gebruik in voertuigen en heeft een doordacht fanloos ontwerp met daarbij het automotive E13 keurmerk. Het is mogelijk de NEXCOM te voorzien van diverse communicatiemodules zoals een GPS module voor gebruik voor track en tracing en navigatie een GPRS Module voor data-overdracht en een 3G/4G (UMTS, HSDPA)
module zodat optimale communicatie gewaarborgd is. Door de ondersteuning vantwee video uitgangen is het mogelijk om twee applicaties onafhankelijk van elkaar op twee schermen weer te geven. De PC is voorzien vaneen aparte CPU unit
voor het regelen van de inwendige temperatuur en de energiehuishouding, ter voorkoming van het leeg raken van de boordaccu. Tevens is de PC beschermd tegen piekspanningen zodat deze PC altijd blijft werken. Eventueel is het mogelijk om
of intern of extern een batterij back up kit erbij te plaatsen zodat u kan blijven doorwerken als de spanning weg zou vallen en of netjes de pc kunt afsluiten.
